Whether graphite products are affected by the cancellation of export tariffs on graphite and other related goods
According to the news from the Ministry of Finance on May 5, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council issued a notice saying that the "2019 tariff adjustment plan" has been deliberated and adopted at the seventh plenary meeting of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council, submitted to the State Council for approval, and will be implemented as of January 1, 2020. According to the plan, 822 imported goods will be subject to the provisional tax rate from January 1, 2020, and the scope of goods subject to the provisional tax rate for imported goods will be reduced to 805 from March 1, 2020. Among them, export tariffs on nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and natural graphite will be abolished.

From 2000 to 2015, the cumulative graphite output was 21.68 million tons, including 7.95 million tons of crystalline graphite. In 2015, the graphite output was 860000 tons (including about 660000 tons of crystalline graphite), accounting for 67.7% of the world output.
From 2000 to 2015, a total of 6.61 million tons of graphite were exported, with an average annual output of 413000 tons, accounting for 30.5% of the total production. In 2015, the export volume was 251000 tons, accounting for 79% of the world. The export went to more than 50 countries and regions, including Japan (103000 tons), South Korea (29000 tons), India (19000 tons), Germany (13000 tons), and the United States (13000 tons). Japan is the world's largest importer of graphite, accounting for more than 50% of the world's import volume, of which more than 80% is imported from China. From 2000 to 2015, Japan imported 2.95 million tons of graphite from China, accounting for 44.6% of China's export volume.
