Production process characteristics and maintenance methods of graphite crucible
& nbsp; & nbsp; The manufacturing process of graphite crucible can be divided into three types: hand molding, rotary molding and compression molding. The quality of crucible has an important relationship with the forming method. The forming method determines the structure, density, porosity and mechanical strength of the crucible body.
Hand molding is a special-shaped crucible used for special purposes, and it is not allowed to use rotary molding and compression molding methods. Some special shaped crucibles can be formed by the combination of rotary molding and hand molding.
& nbsp; & nbsp; Rotary molding is to use the rotary can machine to drive the plastic mold to operate, and use the inner knife to extrude the clay to complete the crucible molding.
Compression molding is to use pressure equipment such as oil pressure, water pressure or air pressure as kinetic energy and steel mold as plastic tool to form crucible. Compared with the rotary molding method, it has the advantages of simple process, short production cycle, high yield and efficiency, low labor intensity, less molding water, low crucible shrinkage and porosity, high product quality and density. & nbsp; domesticGraphite crucibleThe production technology level of has reached or even exceeded that of imported crucibles. High quality domestic graphite crucibles have the following characteristics:
& nbsp; 1. The high density of graphite crucible makes the crucible have the best thermal conductivity, and its thermal conductivity is obviously better than other imported crucibles;
& nbsp; 2. The graphite crucible has a special glaze layer and dense molding materials on the surface, which greatly improves the corrosion resistance of the product and extends its service life;
& nbsp; 3. The graphite components in the graphite crucible are all natural graphite with very good thermal conductivity. The graphite crucible cannot be placed on the cold metal table immediately after heating to avoid its cracking due to rapid cooling.
& nbsp; How to maintain the graphite crucible? In fact, the graphite crucible should be moisture-proof.
Graphite crucibleWe are most afraid of moisture, which will have a great impact on the quality. If we use a crucible that is damp, it will break, burst, fall off the side and bottom, resulting in the loss of molten metal and even industrial accidents. Therefore, graphite crucibles must be protected from moisture during storage and use. The warehouse for storing graphite crucibles shall be dry and ventilated, and the temperature shall be kept between 5 ℃ and 25 ℃, and the relative humidity shall be 50 ~ 60%. The crucibles shall not be stored on the brick soil or cement floor to avoid moisture. The graphite crucible in bulk should be placed on a wooden frame, 25 ~ 30cm above the ground; For the whole package packed in wooden cases, wicker baskets or straw bags, sleepers shall be placed under the cargo stacks, at least 20cm above the ground, and a layer of linoleum shall be placed on the sleepers to prevent moisture. After stacking for a period of time, the stack must be inverted, and the lower layer must be inverted on the upper layer, preferably the upper and lower layers should be inverted relatively. The time interval for stacking shall not be too long. Generally, stacking shall be done once every two months. If the moisture on the ground is not high, stacking can be done once every three months. In short, frequent stacking can achieve a good moisture-proof effect. added
